A little about me.
I like understanding the problem
as much as building the solution.
I’m Uzair, a software engineer based in Lahore, Pakistan. I’ve worked with Elixir and Phoenix since 2018, helping teams build products across education, photography, financial-advisor workflows, and more.
I enjoy owning work end to end: understanding the customer’s problem, shaping the feature, connecting the systems, and staying with it in production.
How I like to work
Clear code. Small responsibilities. Thoughtful decisions. I care about making systems understandable for the people who have to work with them next.
I use coding agents as part of my workflow, with the level of automation shaped by the product and team. These days I’m also exploring how agents can help with discovery and validating ideas.
Outside the job description
I build small products to learn. AskPakistan and ClariexAI are part of that curiosity: a way to work through what it takes to turn an idea into something people can use.
I’m comfortable in remote-first and hybrid teams, and enjoy collaborating across engineering, product, and partner teams.
